Baby Scrapbooking - Baby Scrapbooking Ideas For Parents

Baby scrapbooking is a wonderful way to capture memories of you baby as he or she is growing, you have plenty of ideas of what you want in your scrapbook, pictures of all the physical changes as you baby grows to a toddler.

There is the first smile the first step, the first crawl the first time he rolled over and lots more, these moments should be captured and put in the scrapbook right away, don’t leave this for later because your baby will grow so fast and you will never find the time to do it.

It is a good idea to start the initial phase of the scrapbook before your baby is born and the events that lead up to the birth of the baby. Ask your husband or partner to take plenty of pictures’ when you are pregnant so you can add it to the scrapbook.

When your baby is born doesn’t forget to ask your husband to make a note of the doctors and nurses that were involved when your baby was born so it can be added in the scrapbook later. You will get all the other details like the height, weight of your baby from the medical book the doctor gives you. This will be an interesting add in the scrapbook. (more…)

5 Phrases you should avoid using with your Kids

It’s very important for every parent to try and be a role model to his or her kids and groom them from when they are small. This usually happen with what you say and do, because your kids will watch you and do the same thing.

Here are just 5 phrases that stuck me the most, There are lot more. Now these are the phrases you should avoid using with your kids it can hurt them and have a lasting effect.

1. Just Do it because I am telling you to do it. This is not a good phrase to use because even if they are kids you need to explain to them why you are asking them to do something.

2. Wait till your Father/Mother Gets home, If you have to discipline your child for doing something wrong, correct him there and then, by using this phrase your child will have the burden of the punishment hanging on his head the whole day
